UNK Loper Loan - ILLiad Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery

UNK faculty, students, and staff are eligible to use Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery (ILL/DD) services to support their research and instructional needs.

Distance Students may request books from the Calvin T. Ryan library collection and journal articles that are not available online through ILL/DD.

How Do I Make An ILL/DD Request?

Before submitting an ILL/DD request, check the library catalog and the journal finder to make sure Calvin T. Ryan Library does not own the item being requested. If you need assistance please contact one of the following:

  • Reference Desk at (308) 865-8586
  • Ask a Librarian - Email and Chat
  • ILL/DD Office - (308) 865-8594 or email loperloan

Go to the ILLiad logon page and enter your username and password. First time users must complete the required registration form. Please be sure to provide a valid email address when registering for ILLiad ILL/DD services. We strongly urge you to use your UNK email address. ILL/DD cannot be responsible for email messages not received by non-UNK email addresses.

Please fill out request forms as completely as possible. Incomplete or incorrect citation information may delay a request or result in a request being returned to you unfilled.

Please note we limit patrons to 10 requests per person per week. If you submit more than 10 requests in one week please indicate, in the "notes" box on the request form, which requests you want filled first so we can process your requests in the order you wish to receive them. We will fill orders over the 10 limit as quickly as possible depending on our current workload.

The amount of time needed for each request to be filled depends on the type of material requested, the availability of the material, and the lending library location.
