Welcome to the Calvin T. Ryan Library at the University of Nebraska at Kearney! We support the UNK mission by striving to meet the individual information needs of UNK students, faculty and staff.
The Library provides access to a variety of collections including books, federal and state government documents, various non-print resources, and archival materials, as well as extensive holdings of electronic databases and reference sources. In addition to 214 databases, students have access to 87,000 print and electronic periodical titles and over 130,000 e-books.
In collaboration with the Academic Success offices in the Division of Student Affairs, a Learning Commons has been developed on the library's second floor. The Writing Center and Academic Tutors partner with the Library to provide seamless support for student academic needs.
The librarians, staff, and student assistants are here to help you find the resources and services you need. Ask for assistance at the Reference Desk or online via Ask a Librarian.
